Whitney Heather Trusty, age 32, of Clarkesville, Georgia went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, June 17, 2020.
Ms. Trusty was born on August 5, 1987, in Habersham County, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Coty Trusty, Nicholas Vega; uncles, Gary Leon Trusty, and Jimmy “Bo-Bo” Watts. She was a graduate of Habersham Central High School. Whitney taught everyone she met the true meaning of unspoken, unconditional love without ever having to say a word. Whitney overcame every obstacle she faced with strength, courage, and a heart of Gold. Nothing could ever break her spirit or her smile. She made friends with everyone and brought so many people together. She always wanted her home to be full of people, laughter, and music. Whitney blessed the earth with kindness, compassion, and joy. When she passed away on Wednesday morning, heaven gained a perfect little angel and though walking may have been a struggle for her on Earth, she can now fly with her loved ones in never-ending happiness.
Survivors include her mother, Tammy Vega, of Clarkesville; brother and sister-in-law, Daniel and Jessica Vega, of Cornelia; grandmother, Sylvia Trusty, of Clarkesville; uncle and aunt, Bill and Pat Trusty, of Homer; aunt, Gloria Watts, of Clarkesville; aunt and uncle, Ann and Jason Goguen, of Clarkesville; nephews, River and Brooks Vega; and numerous cousins.
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 21, 2020, at the Yonah Memorial Gardens.
