Former Hart County High coach Tim Lasseter to lead girls golf at East Hall High

East Hall High School has named Tim Lasseter as the new Head Girls Golf Coach for the 2020-21 school year.

Lasseter spent ten years in the Hart County School System before taking a position at Tadmore Elementary School with Hall County two years ago. While in Hart County, he served as the Boys Varsity Golf Coach at Hart County High School. In 2004 and 2008, he led the Hart County Boys to Region 8-AAA Titles and top ten finishes in the GHSA State Golf Tournament. Lasseter was the GACA 8-AAA Varsity Boys Golf Coach of the Year in 2008. From 2011-2012, he coached the Boys and Girls Golf Teams at Hart County Middle School. The Girls Team won the region tournament in 2012 and the Boys Team finished as runners-up.

Rich believes that Lasseter’s years in Hart County will pay off. “I am excited about the experience Coach Lasseter is bringing to our girls golf program,” he said. “He also has incredible passion for the game, and I know he will share that with his players and the East Hall community.”

Lasseter and his wife, Laura, served as house parents at Eagle Ranch in Flowery Branch from 2012-2018. They have two daughters, Annie and Charlotte.
