James Arnold “Jim” Law, age 77, Demorest, Georgia, went to his Heavenly home on Tuesday, March 3, 2020.
He was a loving husband, father, Pawpaw Jim, and friend to all. He loved Alabama football and fishing. He was a member of Bethesda Fellowship in Cornelia, Georgia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sibert Lionel and Agnes Law; his siblings, Patricia Yancey and Kenneth Law; and his granddaughter, Brittany Baker.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Brenda Law; his children, Sondra Law, Wendy Baker (Ricky), James W. Law and Linda Denny (Bill); his grandchildren, Haley Brink (Caleb), Taylor Law, Joseph Baker, Jacob Law, Hannah Cuozzo (Branden), Josh Law, Jenna Law; his sister-in-law, Ellen Law and niece, Ann Yancey; many other extended family and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, March 6, 2020, from 12:30 pm until 2 pm at Deerfoot Memorial Funeral Home followed by a service at 2 pm. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens with Pastor John Graham, Bishop Kevin Magness, and LeeRoy Hardeman officiating.
