Demorest, GA – With Mother Nature forcing changes to the Lady Lion softball schedule in the beginning of the season, Head Coach Terry Martin has rescheduled a previously postponed USA South contest with Mary Baldwin College to be played Friday. The Lady Lions were scheduled to face the Fighting Squirrels in Staunton, Virginia back on March 9 but were forced to postpone the contests due to the weather.
This adds another doubleheader to an already busy weekend for the ladies in Green and Gold who now have a doubleheader against Mary Baldwin on Friday, a pair of contests against Greensboro on Saturday and another twinbill against Averett on Sunday. All six games will be on the road wrapping up the USA South schedule for the Lady Lions.
