Habersham County voters got a chance to hear directly from the candidates Tuesday night during a political forum in Clarkesville.
Candidates for sheriff, probate judge, and county commission answered questions and made their pitches for why voters should elect them.
The forum was sponsored by the Habersham County Farm Bureau and Habersham Chamber of Commerce.
Next Tuesday, May 26, the Farm Bureau will sponsor a regional forum featuring candidates for State House District 10, State Senate District 50, and Georgia’s 9th Congressional District.
