Georgia voters continue to weigh in on who they want as our next president. Early voting in the state’s 2020 presidential preference primary started Monday, March 2. It ends Friday, March 20.
Every county in the state will offer voting on at least one Saturday, March 14.
Election day is March 24.
Open primary
Georgia primaries are open, which means you do not have to be a registered member of a political party to vote in the election. Eligible voters may cast whichever party ballot they choose.
To be eligible to vote in this presidential primary, you have to have been registered to vote by Feb. 24, 2020.
There are twelve candidates on the Democratic ballot but now only three are still running. They are Joe Biden, Tulsi Gabbard, and Bernie Sanders. All of the others have dropped out of the race.
President Donald Trump is the only candidate on the GOP presidential primary ballot.
