Christians around the world are commemorating the death and celebrating the resurrection of their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. A living Lord’s Supper was held at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Clarkesville Friday night. It was a reenactment of the last Passover meal Christ shared with his disciples before his crucifixion.
For Christians, Easter Sunday marks the celebration of Christ’s resurrection three days after his death as told in the Bible in the book of Luke chapters 23 & 24.
