James Phil Moore, age 71, of Lula, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2019.
Born on February 6, 1948, in Demorest, Georgia, he was a son of the late Cecil and Susie Shirley Moore. Phil was a State Champion Rollerskater. He had a great sense of humor and above all, he was a proud grandpa.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Maney Moore; brothers: Frank Moore, Walter Moore, and Charles Moore; and sister, Imogene Maxwell.
Survivors include his daughters and son-in-law: Melissa and Rodney King of Baldwin, Brandie Bell and Ethan Shirley of Lula, Christy Moore of Habersham County, and Kimberly Ridlehoover of Habersham County; stepdaughter and spouse, Katherine and Richie Warwick of Alto; grandchildren and their spouses: Alex and Abigail King, Jacob and Brogan King, Kaylie Bell, Kenzie Bell, Madalyn Bell, Keegan Rogers, Kiersten Ridlehoover, Carson Harris, and Liam VanGoosen; great-grandchildren: Aubrey King, Addyson King, Aiden King, Nolan King, Axel King, and Rex King; and brother, Billy Joe Moore.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.
