Clifford Louis “Cliff” Sandoz

Clifford Louis “Cliff” Sandoz, age 69 of Demorest, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2019.

Born in New Orleans, Louisiana on April 28, 1950, he was a son of the late Charles Claudius Sandoz & Gloria Houin Sandoz. Cliff was a graduate of Samford University with a Masters Degree in Environmental Science as well as a graduate of Loyola University with a Masters Degree in Business Administration. He was an entrepreneur of many business ventures including Acadian Services & Crescent Investments. Cliff was a very dedicated builder and friend to many. He attended St. Mark Catholic Church in Clarkesville.

In his spare time, Cliff enjoyed boat rides on Lake Chatuge, rides on the Gator ATV, and eating Cajun foods. Most of all, he enjoyed precious time with his family, especially his grandchildren and grand dogs. Cliff will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Survivors include his loving wife of 38 years, Doris Eubanks Sandoz of Demorest, GA; daughters & son-in-law, Leigh Anne Holland of Suwanee, GA; Mendi Sandoz & Daniel Klimek of Greenville, SC; brother, Wesley Sandoz; sisters, Debbie Sandoz Lier, & Judith Sandoz Diket, all of New Orleans, LA; grandchildren, Sydney Jenkins, Skylar Jenkins, Bryleigh Holland, & Buddy Holland; good friends, Carl, Jr. & Valerie Loudermilk of Demorest, GA; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, & a host of friends.

Cliff’s wishes were to be cremated.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Hillside Memorial Chapel in Clarkesville with Deacon Richard Marinchak serving as Celebrant. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
