(Cleveland) – White County Assistant Superintendent of Schools Scott Justus says rumors of a threat targeting White County High School were investigated and found to be “unsubstantiated.”
School officials say they were made aware of the rumors on Tuesday.
In an email to school personnel and parents, administrators advised that “all threats are taken very seriously by the school system and the Sheriff’s Office and are addressed immediately.”
Justus tells Now Habersham it was a rumor that kids started and, “As far as we’re concerned it’s been handled at this point in time.” He stresses that at no point were any students “ever in harm’s way.”
