Lila Burrell Brown, age 83, of Roswell, Georgia formerly of Tallulah Falls, Georgia went into the arms of her beloved Jesus on Tuesday, November 5, 2019.
Mrs. Brown was the daughter of W.R. and Bertha Burrell, born in 1936. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Rev. Walter Burrell; niece, Melody Burrell Maxwell. Mrs. Brown was a member and served in the Stephens Ministry of Fellowship Bible Church in Roswell. She was a graduate of Bob Jones University, graduating in 1958. Ms. Lila shared extraordinary love with anyone she met, especially her family and friends with whom her love will be expanded for generations to come.
Survivors include her loving husband of 53 years, Johnnie Brown, of Roswell; daughter, Robyn Brown, of Orlando, FL; brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Billy Burrell and Eugenie, of Mt. Airy; sister-in-law, Pat Burrell, of Demorest; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, TImothy J. Brown and Chris, of Franklin, NC; Thomas E. Brown and LouAnn, of Woodstock; children of her siblings, Bobby Burrell, Rev. Greg Burrell, Billy Burrell, and Neysa Joy Burrell.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 8, 2019, at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel with Rev. Billy Burrell and Rev. Greg Burrell officiating. Interment will follow in the Hazel Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m., Friday, November 8, 2019, at the funeral home prior to the service.
