Habersham Central’s junior varsity competition cheerleading team closed out their season on Sunday. The team finished second in weekend competition at Chestatee High School in Gainesville.
The varsity team also placed near the top in their competition, bringing home a second-place.
Both teams showed off their athleticism and enthusiasm. The varsity cheerleaders have one more competition before competing in region sectionals next month.
The varsity squad head coach is Christy Thompson. Cristen Rabern coaches Central’s JV cheer team.
