(BIG BEAR LAKE, Calif.)– For the first time in Truett McConnell University’s Life Sport history, two members of the TMU cycling team competed at the USA Cycling Mountain Biking National Championships. TMU freshmen Brennah Griggs and Foster Hutchings competed at Big Bear Lake, California, on Friday, Oct. 11 – Sunday, October 13.
In the women’s varsity cross-country, Griggs finished 57th with a time of 2:32:11.5. Due to altitude sickness, Hutchings was unable to complete the men’s cross-country; however, Hutchings went on to complete the men’s short track with a time of 6:04.60. Griggs also completed the women’s short track with a time of 7:54.47.
