A Flowery Branch man is charged with 26 counts of sexual exploitation of children as the result of a Hall County Sheriff’s Office investigation into an October 14 cyber tip from the Georgia Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.

Sheriff’s Office Investigators obtained a warrant for the arrest of Steven Joseph Robertson, 27, of Compass Drive, on Thursday, October 17, after executing a search warrant at his home.

During the search, Investigators seized several electronic devices that Robertson used to obtain at least 26 videos of children engaged in sexually explicit conduct with adults. He uploaded the videos between May and June of 2019, according to the initial investigation.

Robertson was taken into custody at the Sheriff’s Office South Precinct at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. He remained in the Hall County Jail without bond on Friday afternoon, October 18.
