(BIG BEAR LAKE, Calif.) – Two members of the Truett McConnell University cycling team are set to compete at the 2019 USA Cycling Collegiate Mountain Bike National Championships on Friday, October 11 – Saturday, October 12. The championships will take place at the Snow Summit in Big Bear Lake, California.
Brennah Griggs and Foster Hutchings, both freshmen, are two members of the team who will be competing at nationals in both the XC and STXC races.
“I’m very proud of the team and the work they’ve accomplished,” Head Coach Joshua Muzyka said. “This weekend at nationals it’ll be eyes on Truett to see how we rank in the country and I am excited to set a benchmark for us to look at each year.”
TMU, in fact, finished the mountain biking regular season ranked ninth, of 24 teams, in the Southeastern Collegiate Cycling Conference standings with a total of 1,710 points. Click here for the complete list of the SECCC standings.
