The mock exercise and training at White County High School that was scheduled for Tuesday, May 28 has been postponed.
The training exercise aims to simulate emergency response to an incident at the high school utilizing law enforcement, fire services and emergency medical services.
“We take every opportunity to train and exercise our plans to protect the students and faculty at all our schools,” says White County Director of Public Safety David Murphy. “This drill helps us to identify more efficient ways and improvements to our school safety program.”
Murphy announced the postponement on Wednesday, May 22. He has not yet announced a new date for the drill.
