Life in Motion: Local church youth group helps build homes for feral cats

The Youth Group of First Presbyterian Church of Clarkesville partnered with Habersham Humane Society to build cat shelters for the feral cats in Pitts Park. The class constructed 10 shelters which have now been placed in the park to provide shelter for cats during the winter months. The materials were provided by the Humane Society.

Claire Kelly, Collin Kelly, Anna Barrett, Jack Greene, Trey Greene, and Andrew Woodworth from First Presbyterian participated in the stewardship project. They were guided by Ted Brothers and Becky Portwood from the Humane Society, as well as their church youth leader Desi Barrett.
