TFS JV baseball victorious over Lakeview

It was a beautiful day for baseball…..finally.

The JV Indians of Tallulah Falls School hosted the Lions of Lakeview Academy on March 12, coming away with a 5-3 victory.

According to assistant coach Dustin Rogers, junior Caleb Whitlock of Cleveland had an outstanding day on the mound, allowing only one run over five innings.

Sophomore Trent Thomas of the Bahamas collected two hits, one crushed over the center field fence for his first homer of the young season. In addition, Thomas pitched the final two innings to seal the victory, Rogers added.

The JV Indians travel to Towns County on March 13 and the varsity plays at home vs. Lakeview.
