Cornelia Kiwanis Talent Showcase auditions are March 12th

Habersham students, it’s time to let your talent shine!

The Cornelia Kiwanis Club is preparing for its annual Talent Showcase. Students in grades K-12 are eligible to compete.  Organizers say all talents are welcome.

Performers in grades 9-12 are eligible to win the $500 Bill Loyd Award but only those who sing or play instruments are eligible to advance to the Kiwanis’ state talent competition

State winners receive scholarships up to $3,500.

Audition and show dates

The Cornelia Kiwanis Club will hold auditions from 4-6 p.m. on March 12 at the Habersham Central High School auditorium.

If you’d like to participate, fill out an application and bring it with you to the auditions. Applications are available in all Habersham County schools in the music teachers’ rooms, the Board of Education Office in Clarkesville, and at the Habersham Chamber of Commerce in Cornelia.

The 38th Annual Cornelia Kiwanis Talent Showcase will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 22 at Habersham Central High School.
