TFS student-angler serves on competitive fishing panel

One Tallulah Falls School student-angler is casting a wide net with his knowledge base.

Because of his experience in the growing sport of competitive bass fishing, on Jan. 5, junior Marshall Williams of Martin was invited to be a part of a three-person panel at the end of a daylong fishing seminar.

Williams, shown third from left, talked to an audience of close to 40 people about the lessons learned from making decisions on the water – both good and bad.

With countless hours on the tournament trail, he is confident his experience will carry him to the next level. College competitive fishing opportunities, industry-related employment, professional fishing careers, and strong true friendships created by being involved in this sport were a few of the topics Williams addressed during the session.
