Memorial services for Darrell Edward “D.J.” Grogan, Jr., age 25, of Demorest, will be held at 5:00 PM on Thursday, September 25, 2014 from the Harvest Christian Church. Rev. Tony Crane and Rev. Phillip Parton will officiate. Mr. Grogan died Tuesday, September 9, 2014.
Born in Gainesville on January 14, 1989, Mr. Grogan was the son of Darrell Edward Grogan, Sr. and Tammy Little. Mr. Grogan was a manager for Waffle House and was a PFC in the United States Army.
Survivors include his wife Rebekah Layman Grogan of Demorest; two daughters, Ahlivia and Allyson Grogan and one son Alexander Grogan, all of Demorest; brothers Kristopher Pinson of Hawaii and Dea Jay McFalls of South Carolina; sister Renee Gosnell of Alto; grandmother Dortha Grogan of Arizona; and grandfather Roy White of Gainesville.
