Funeral services for Cindy Mildred Porterfield Johnson, age 67 of Mt. Airy, will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Hillside Memorial Chapel. Rev. Anthony Shore and Rev. Bill Trotter will officiate with interment to follow the service Yonah Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Johnson passed away September 20, 2018 at her residence.
Born on May 13, 1951, Mrs. Johnson was the daughter of the late Earnest and Doris Hill Porterfield. Mrs. Johnson worked at Magnolia Hills as a caregiver. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Johnson is preceded in death by brothers Doug Porterfield, Ronnie Porterfield, and Ray Porterfield.
Survivors include husband Joe Johnson, daughter Tammy Ramey, sons Wayne Ramey and Casey Johnson, step daughter Phyllis Johnson, step son Dwight Johnson, sisters Diane Whitley, Betty Seabolt and Kay Kennedy, nine grandchildren and fourteen Great Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
