Grady Calvin Gragg, age 75 of Cornelia, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, September 5, 2018.
Born in Habersham County, Georgia on October 24, 1942 to the late Chester and Rhoda Owensby Gragg. Mr. Gragg was a retired truck driver with Fieldale Farms. He enjoyed going to church, sharing the Gospel, meeting new people, helping others, gardening, fishing and spending time with his family. Mr. Gragg was a member of Victory Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Herman & Louise Gragg; nieces, Lynn Deaton and Tanya Brown.
Surviving are his loving wife of 52 years, Kathy Gragg of Cornelia; sons and daughter-in-law, Rickey & Libby Gragg of Cornelia, Steve Gragg of Mt. Airy; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Rev. Thomas & Stella Gragg of the Hollywood Community, James & Hilda Gragg of Clarkesville, Doug Gragg of Clarkesville, David Gragg of Gainesville, Raymond & Beverly Gragg of DeRidder, Louisiana, Lonnie Gragg of Hampton, Virginia; sisters and brothers-in-law, Coralee Gragg of Lakemont, Kathy & Dale Lovell of Clarkesville, Carolyn & Bobby Cook of Alto, Joy & Doug Poole of Baldwin, Geraldine & Earl Smith of Demorest; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 am, Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Victory Baptist Church with Pastor Shane Jenkins, Rev. Thomas Gragg and Rev. James Southers officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Rev. Scott Ledbetter officiating.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 pm on Friday at the funeral home.
