(Cleveland)- Things were a little exciting at the White County Government offices off the Helen Highway this morning around  7:30AM.

White County Public Safety Spokeswoman Ana Newberry says “Mauney” the Bear showed up for an Animal Control class being held there.

According to Newberry, the bear strolled along the parking lot between the Mauney Building and White County Administration Building, made a right and found a wall, turned around and walked down the driveway to Hulsey Road.

Traffic traveling Hulsey Road stopped and the bear crossed the highway and continued on his way.
