James Robert “Jim” Vonier

James Robert “Jim” Vonier, age 65 of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday June 12, 2018 at his residence. Born in Barwick Georgia on August 31, 1952, he was the son of Franklin Lamar Vonier, Sr. and the late Ola Mae Croft Vonier. He was a graduate of North Georgia Technical College with a degree in Horticulture. He started his career in landscaping in Gainesville, Georgia. He eventually settled in Tennessee where he continued his landscaping career.

In addition to his mother, Jim was preceded in death by his infant brothers, Franklin Lamar, Jr. and Marcus Anthony.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Susan Heath Vonier of Knoxville, TN; brothers, Ricky (Debbie) Vonier of Clarkesville, GA, Wendell (Cathy) Vonier of Cornelia, GA, Tim (Tammy) Vonier of Sautee, GA; 2 nieces, 4 nephews; 4 great nieces and 5 great nephews.

Memorial graveside services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday July 7, 2018 at the Barwick SDA cemetery.
