White County primary election results

(Cleveland)- Following the Primary Election vote count Tuesday night in White County, there will be a runoff in the Board of Education District two and the vote count was so close in Board of Education District four there could be a recount.

In district two BOE the runoff will be between incumbent Charlie Bryson and John Solomon. Bryson received 44.86 percent (1558 votes) of the votes, with Solomon getting 28.45 percent (988 votes ). Carly Adam received 26.69 percent (927 votes).

Board of Education district four Linda Erbele received 50.82 percent  (1731 votes) of the votes while Jeannette Gearing polled 49.18 percent (1675  votes) of the votes. White County Election Superintendent Garrison Baker said, there are a few provisional ballots that will need to be certified before he can determine if an automatic recount of the votes will be needed. It could be Wednesday afternoon or Thursday before he will know for sure.

In the White County Commission District 2, incumbent Lyn Holcomb was the winner with 52.47 percent ( 499  votes), Ricky Farmer 20.50 percent (195  votes) and Mike Boswell received 27.02 percent (257  votes).
