Early voting is now closed ahead of Tuesday’s Primary Election. Just over 2,500 voters in Habersham have cast ballots.
Habersham County Election Supervisor Laurel Ellison released Absentee/Early/Advance Voting figures on Saturday. She says 415 Absentee Ballots were mailed and 300 have been returned so far. There were 2,209 votes cast in Habersham during Early/Advance Voting.
Based on those figures, 10% of Habersham County’s active registered voters cast ballots ahead of the primary.
