Come kick-off the summer in Cornelia with two-time Entertainer of the Year and three-time platinum album recording artist Neal McCoy. The country music star will perform live in concert at 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 12 at 301 South Main Street in downtown Cornelia.
McCoy has released fifteen studio albums on various labels, and has released 34 singles to country radio, according to his official website.
In 1993, McCoy broke through with back-to-back number one singles, No Doubt About It and Wink from his platinum-certified album No Doubt About It. His Top Ten hits include The Shake from 1997 and Billy’s Got His Beer Goggles On released in 2005.
The free outdoor concert is sponsored by the Cornelia Hospitality and Tourism Board and area businesses. Bigg Daddy’s restaurant will host a beer and wine garden at the event.
There’s no seating at the venue so concert-goers will need to bring their own chairs.
Prior to the concert, the public is invited to attend the 2nd Annual Veterans Jamboree from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Cornelia Community House.
