Law enforcement from all over Habersham and North Georgia are actively involved in a manhunt for a suspect in a shooting. Three have been shot and one is confirmed dead in the tense scene. This is a dangerous situation. If you live in the area of Hwy. 17 between Fred Pitts Road and Hayes Corner STAY INDOORS WITH DOORS AND WINDOWS LOCKED.
County, state and city law enforcement units from all over Habersham are on the scene. K-9 units are being brought in to search for the gunman who remains on the loose at this hour. Hwy. 17 is blocked. Please stay away from the area.
