John Buddy “John Boy” Clark, age 31 of Elkhorn City, Kentucky formerly of Baldwin, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018.
Born in Arlington, Texas on November 24, 1986 he was the son of Katherine Elizabeth Barringer Clark of Ludington, Michigan and the late Henry Howard Clark. John was an automotive mechanic and a veteran of the Army National Guard. He enjoyed motorcycles and was a huge part of the gaming community where he has now reached the highest level attainable. John was loved by all who knew him and will forever be in the hearts of those that loved him.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his half sister, Tenoia Embrey; grandparents, John & Addie Bell Holbrooks Clark and Richard Barringer.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Lea Amber Brooks Clark of Cumming; daughter, Isabella Hope Clark; sons, Scott Howard Clark, Jason Hayden Clark and Alexander Noble Clark; sister, Shannon Clark of Athens; half-sister, Shanta Russo of Douglasville; grandmother, Betty Inman VanBrocklin; several aunts, uncles, cousins and other family and friends.
A Celebration of Life service is scheduled for 2 pm, Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Welcome Home Baptist Church. Military honors will be provided by the United States Army National Guard, Grant Reeves VFW Post #7720, Habersham County American Legion Post #84, and the Rabun County DAV Chapter #15.
