Diane F. Holbrook, age 70 of Clarkesville, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 28, 2018.
Born in Franklin County, Georgia on March 11, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Dorsey & the late Florence Alewine Hudson. Mrs. Holbrook was a homemaker who devoted her life to Jesus Christ. She was a beloved wife, loving mother, doting grandmother, as well as a loyal sister, & faithful friend. Mrs. Holbrook also loved her animals. She was a member of the Hollywood Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Holbrook was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Bink Morgan.
Survivors include her loving husband of 50 years, Don T. Holbrook of Clarkesville, GA; son & daughter-in-law, Tom & Jennifer Holbrook of Baldwin, GA; daughter & son-in-law, Tara Holbrook Lowry & Andy Lowry of Watkinsville, GA; brothers & sisters-in-law, Richard & Anne Fulbright of Toccoa, GA; Tommy & Brenda Fulbright of Hartwell, GA; sisters & brother-in-law, Sandra & Bob Thornburg of Mebane, NC; Connie Morgan of Carnesville, GA; grandchildren, Christopher Holbrook, Katie Holbrook, Luke Lowry, Seth Lowry, & Lydia Lowry, as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives, & a host of friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2018 from the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home with Pastor Andy Lowry officiating. Interment will follow in the Hollywood Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
