Funeral services are scheduled Tuesday for former, long-time Banks County Probate Judge Milton Dalton. Dalton passed away Saturday following an extended illness.
Dalton served 24 years as head of Banks County’s Probate Court. He also served four years as a County Commissioner, according to his obituary.
Adding to his long list of public service, Dalton was a Banks County Deputy and member of the Hollingsworth Fire Department. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves.
He was associated with Whitfield Funeral Homes in Habersham County for a number of years.
Dalton’s funeral is scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 20 at Homer Baptist Church. Family will receive friends at Whitfield Funeral Home in Baldwin from 4-8 p.m. Monday. The funeral home is located at 1370 Industrial Boulevard, Baldwin, Georgia.
Milton Dalton was 80 years old.
