Local potter Chance Hunter will judge the upcoming Piedmont College High School Art Show in Demorest.
Artwork by students from 12 Georgia high schools will be on display at the Piedmont College Mason-Scharfenstein Museum of Art Jan. 8–18, 2018.
The show will be curated by recent Piedmont graduate Chance Hunter, who is currently a graduate student at the college working toward a Master of Arts in Teaching degree. Artists participating in the show come from St. Francis, Cherokee, Milton, Pebblebrook, Lumpkin County, Langston Hughes, Osborne, Parkview, Mill Creek, Brookwood, Franklin County, and Gainesville high schools.
A reception for the artists will be held from 5–7 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 18, and winners of Piedmont art scholarships will be announced.
