Friday night TFS hosted George Walton Academy and fell behind at the end of the 1st quarter 14-11 before storming back in the 2nd quarter behind strong post play from Sophomore Matthew Weidner and Senior Tahj Moss and excellent guard play from their two sophomore guards, Hayden Johnson and Winston Davis, playing a bigger role due to the absence of starting point guard, Junior Jake Carver, who was out sick.
After leading at the half by 3 points, 34-31, the Indians stormed ahead behind some great defense by Sophomore Reeves Cody and Senior Akin Akisanya as they held the Bulldogs to 9 points while scoring 18 in the quarter.
