Two Habersham County men arrested in connection with Sautee burglaries

(Cleveland)- Two suspects have been arrested in connection with several burglaries in White County. Captain Rick Kelley with the White County Sheriff’s Office said they have been investigating a series of residential burglaries in the Sautee area for the past couple of months.

The investigation let them to a suspect identified as 40-year old Joshua Adam Doster of Demorest. Kelley said on November 21st officers executed a search warrant at Doster’s residence.

Demorest Police Department, Habersham County  Sheriff’s Office, and the Department of Community Supervision assisted in the execution of the search warrant. According to Kelley, during the search, investigators located numerous tools and electronics that were stolen from three different burglaries in the Sautee area.  Investigators recovered over $3,000 worth of stolen property.

Doster was taken into custody and is charged with three counts of burglary, three counts of theft by taking, and one count of party to the crime of identity  fraud.

Nelson Mark Foster age 66 of Baldwin has also been charged in connection with  this case, according to Kelley.  Foster has been charged with one count of identity fraud.

The investigation is ongoing.
