Members of the Piedmont College freshman class volunteered their time and artistic talents for the annual “Empty Bowls” event to fight hunger. Proceeds from the event go to The Lord’s Help Soup Kitchen in Cornelia.

For a $15 donation, participants could pick out a handmade bowl to keep and enjoy a soup supper donated by El Jinete Mexican Restaurant and Fender’s Diner.

Entertainment was provided by Cantabile, the student a cappella ensemble, and Shticks and Giggles, a student improv troupe.
