Wreck injures four in Mt. Airy

Two children were among four people injured in a two-vehicle wreck this morning in Mt. Airy. It happened during the school rush hour at 7:58am on Highway 197 South at Ansley Road.

Kelly Murray with the Georgia State Patrol Post in Toccoa say 23-year old Ricky Goodman of Homer was driving the car, 34-year old Amanda Skelton of Mt. Airy was driving the pick-up. She had two passengers in her vehicle. They’re identified as 8-year old Annabelle Skelton and 9-year old Jason Queen, both of Mt. Airy.

All four were taken by ambulance to Habersham Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

No further details are available at this time. The Georgia State Patrol is investigating.
