Truett McConnell men’s soccer player Joao Costa just finished his summer season with PDL side Charlotte Eagles and made the best sports’ highlight of the night during the championship game.
Costa’s beautiful scissor-kick goal evened the score for the Charlotte Eagles in the 26th minute of the championship game. The Eagles would go onto win the 2017 PDL Championship 2-1 against the Thunder Bay Chill.
