A Baldwin man is dead following an electrocution accident in Banks County. The Banks County Sheriff’s Office says 43-year-old Stacy Groover died at Habersham Medical Center.
He was taken to the hospital after the accident occurred just before 8 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Banks County Sheriff’s Office. It happened at a privately owned workshop located off of Highway 105 and Andrews Road in Baldwin.
Witnesses on scene told deputies Groover was working on a project in the building when he somehow became electrocuted by the materials he was working on.
