Last week Owen, who has permission to fly his drone over the construction area, made a flight of the entire phase two project.
The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony on phase two of the parkway on Wednesday, July 26 at 10 AM. The ceremony will be held at the intersection of Highway 115 and the end of phase 1 of the Appalachian Parkway.
