The Habersham County Little League 9/10 All-Stars staved off elimination with a narrow 3-1 win Tuesday night over Rabun.
Now, the Habersham group must take on Hart in another elimination game Wednesday night at 7 p.m. The winner moves back into the winner’s bracket to take on Toccoa, and will have to then beat them twice to win district.
The 9/10 group, led by manager Mike Mills, head coach Jeff Spivey and assistant coach Gene Smith, consists of: Logan Brown, Caleb Campbell, Jackson Carlan, Spencer Frady, Griffin Harkness, Dalan James, Jaydon King, Nick McConnell, Charles Mills, Callum Spivey, Gage Teague and Joseph Wallace.

vs Toccoa (6/25) L 2-12
vs Franklin (6/26) W 14-4
vs Rabun (6/27) W 3-1

In other District Tournament action, Madison and Hart square off Wednesday for the 10/11 District Championship. Habersham’s 10/11 group went 1-2 in the tournament, falling to Hart 13-3 and Madison 9-3, while beating Toccoa 11-5 in their first elimination game.
