Jimmy Sebastian Tackett, age 19, of Alto, passed away on February 2, 2015, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born on February 18, 1995 in Habersham County, he was the son of Jimmy Lee Tackett and Heather Wade Tackett both of Alto. Mr. Tackett enjoyed skateboarding and was influential in the skateboard park being completed in Cornelia. He also enjoyed cars, dirt bikes, drawing and music. He was of the Christian faith.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Harold Wade.
In addition to his parents, survivors include a daughter, Aria Tackett of Gainesville; sisters, Anna and Ashlee Tackett both of Alto; maternal grandmother, Brenda Wade of Alto; paternal grandparents, James Tackett of Cornelia and Loretta Tackett of Homer; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Rev. Chad Parker, Rev. Michael Parker and Rev. Mike Franklin officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
