Local Chapter Donates $500 to NGTC Foundation
(Clarkesville, GA) – WoodmenLife Cornelia Chapter 553 recently donated $500 to the North Georgia Technical College (NGTC) Foundation General Scholarship Fund. The donation was made at the Foundation’s meeting in June. WoodmenLife Representatives Ernie Craven and Ricky Pruitt made the presentation to the Foundation Trustees.
The NGTC Foundation will use the WoodmenLife gift to fund a general scholarship. NGTC students with a documented financial need may apply. The deadline for students to apply for the WoodmenLife Scholarship is July 20th. Applications are available by calling 706-754-7714 or[email protected].
Woodman Life also rewards the accomplishments of its high school graduating members through its WoodmenLife Focus Forward Scholarship. The scholarship program is part of the organization’s recently updated customer benefits. The program awards up to $1million annually to graduating WoodmenLife members. Scholarships range from $500 to $25,000 and can be used to pay for two-year or four-year college, university or technical college education.
