Life in Motion: Celebrate. Remember. Fight Back.

It’s the mantra and mission of the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life: “Celebrate. Remember. Fight Back.”

This year, Habersham Countians again took that message to heart as they gathered to celebrate cancer survivors, remember those who have died, and fight back against the disease by raising money and hope.

So far this year, nearly $50,000 has been raised in Habersham County to help the American Cancer Society fund cancer research and education programs. Money is raised in a variety of ways including through relay pledges, special events and individual and business donations.

Thanks to all who have given. Prayers for all who have been affected by this insidious disease.
