HCLL Hit-a-Thon scheduled for Saturday, June 17

Habersham County Little League is pleased to announce the first annual HCLL Hit-A-Thon.

This unique event will take place at 11 a.m. on June 17. The Hit-A-Thon is open to all athletes between the ages of 7 and 12. HCLL is a non-profit organization run completely on volunteer time and commitment. Therefore, the HCLL Hit-A-Thon will also serve as the final fundraiser for the 2016-2017 season.

Although HCLL has had a very successful fundraising season, operating expenses still exceeds revenues. These much-needed funds will go toward ongoing field maintenance, umpire expenses, and equipment for the HCLL sports complex. The event also gives players and families one last chance to enjoy the camaraderie developed over the course of the season in a fun competition. The entire community is invited to attend this event. Food and concessions will be available for sale to the public.

HCLL is hoping that all little league players will commit to raise at least $100.00 in pledges for the league. Prizes will be awarded to top fundraisers overall and the top fundraiser per age group. The Grand Prize will go to the top fundraising individual or family. Prizes will also be awarded to the top fundraising player from each division. Prizes may include:

  • Season Passes to the 2018 Habersham Raider Baseball Season
  • Multiple $50.00 Gift Card
  • Multiple $25.00 Gift Card
  • HCLL swag and more.

Registration

Registration and donation forms can be downloaded here: Hit-A-Thon Letter. Registration is now open. You may register prior to the event or at 10 a.m. on the day of the event. Pledges can be a one-time flat donation or based on the number of feet your athlete hits his or her ball during the Hit-A-Thon. Per foot pledges will need to be submitted no later than June 24, 2017.
