(Cleveland)- The City of Cleveland has lifted the Boil Water Noticed that was issued last Thursday following a water main break south of Cleveland.
Andrea Smith, Water Distribution Operator for the City of Cleveland Public Works advised the notice affected the City of Cleveland water customers located in the Southwest area south of Tommy Cowart Road, Hwy. 129 South to Westmoreland Road, of the city’s water service area.
To make proper repairs, the City Public Works Department had to shut off the water supply to the line and due to the possibility of contaminant entering the system the notice was required bye EPD.
Smith advised Tuesday morning that the EPD has confirmed with the city that all test are clear and the Boil Water Notice has been lifted.
