Tallulah Falls School coaches have named four Indians of the Week for the week of March 6-11.
VARSITY BOY
Senior Mark Faingold of Russia was named an Indian of the Week by varsity tennis coach Randy Morris. “Mark has been a captain and leader of our team for three years,” Morris said. “He was very successful in his recent match against Athens Christian beating his opponent 6-0, 6-0. He has been instrumental in developing our younger players. Mark has a GREAT attitude and is a positive role model.”
VARSITY GIRL
Varsity golf coach Allen Campbell selected junior Jenny Wang of China as an Indian of the Week. “Jenny was selected because of her continuing outstanding performances,” Campbell said. “For the week, she was the low medalist for all three of our matches. In addition, these were wins versus. Area teams.”
MIDDLE SCHOOL GIRL
Middle school golf coach Cyndy Campbell named eighth grader Brinson Hall of Mt. Airy as an Indian of the Week. “Brinson was the low medalist versus Rabun County and Summit Charter School,” Campbell said. “She is a strong leader on the team and a fierce competitor. She stays composed under pressure and sets a good example for TFS athletics.”
MIDDLE SCHOOL BOY
Seventh grader Josh Jackson of Alto was selected as an Indian of the Week by middle school tennis coach Lisa Wilcox. “Josh outperformed his opponent when it mattered against Hebron Academy,” Wilcox said. “He won at No. 3 singles by a score of 8-6. Josh has improved his tennis skills tremendously from last year and is a huge asset to the team this year.”
