TFS enjoying strong start in tennis, golf

The TFS varsity golf team is off to a strong start for the 2017 season.

To date, coach Allen Campbell’s squad is undefeated having beaten three Area opponents. The varsity girls team recently defeated Athens Academy in a match played at Athens Country Club. Wang again was low medalist while junior Chloe Turpin shot a personal best while taking second overall. The team set a TFS record for a nine hole match.  The TFS girls played a home match Oct. 9 at the Apple Mountain course earning their third consecutive win of the season in a match against Prince Avenue. Wang again led the way for the Indians.
