NGTC Blairsville campus offers 2 new programs for Fall 2017

North Georgia Technical College announces a new Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) Program that will begin fall semester 2017 at the Blairsville NGTC Campus. Current nursing students interested in applying should be completing core course work to be ready for selected entry to the fall cohort class. Deadline for applying for the LPN is April 1.

A total of 20 students may be selected for this competitive program, and they will be announced shortly after the current spring term of 2017 ends. Interested students may contact Farilyn Rearden at [email protected] or (706) 754-7752 with questions or more information.

The Blairsville Campus of NGTC also announces a new Early Childhood Education Program, one of the fastest growing programs on the NGTC campuses, that will begin fall semester 2017. Students interested in teaching kindergarten, pre-K, head start or in any childcare environment may enroll and transfer to any articulating college programs. Diploma, degree and several certificates are available in the Early Childhood Education program at NGTC.

Both the LPN and the Early Childhood Education Programs are part of Governor Nathan Deal’s Strategic Industries Workforce Development Grant (SIWDG) for students of the Technical College System of Georgia, which allows student to enroll with 100% free tuition available.
