(Cleveland)- A threat made on social medial prompted White County School officials to request some extra security at the White County Middle School Monday. White County Superintendent of Schools Dr. Jeff Wilson advised that the social media threat was made over the weekend.

Wilson, who did not provide any details about the threat, said they investigated it and found the threat not be credible. However he said, we always take extra precautions in such cases.

Wilson thanked the Cleveland Police Department and the White County Sheriff’s Office for their excellent work on this matter. They both did a great job to assure that all of our students and staff are safe, said Wilson.
